The “sinner’s prayer” is a staple of modern evangelism. It’s a way to “close the deal,” and it gives Christians who lead sinners in the prayer a sense that they have accomplished the desired goal—to see someone come to Christ. So, to not lead someone in a traditional “sinner’s prayer” is almost irresponsible. Or is it?
