If a stranger approaches you and says they know your buddy “John,” but all their facts are wrong concerning him, you could safely conclude they are referring to a different John. Mark Spence uses this illustration to show why many non-Christians say they “know” Jesus Christ.
December 29, 2018
I am excited about what God has in store for 2019, and would like to share with you some of the plans and projects on the horizon! We continue to work hard at producing more inspirational and equipping resources to help Christians around the world proclaim the gospel and lead many more to saving faith. Thanks to your prayers and financial sacrifices, other believers are enabled to confidently and boldly share their faith, making stories like Mathew’s possible. We’re grateful for your support!
If you’d like to help us achieve more in 2019, would you prayerfully consider partnering with us this year? You have until midnight on December 31 to receive a tax credit for 2018.
Way of the Master Launch
The new episodes of our TV program will be launched early in 2019 on multiple networks and stations (airing in over 190 countries), and will feature Kirk Cameron as an occasional guest host. The crowdfunding campaign for the new studio and episodes ends December 31. If you haven’t already, watch the below video and learn more about how you can become a producer for the next episodes of Way of the Master. While the campaign has now met our target, every penny given over $350,000 will help make more episodes possible!
I have just finished writing four new books that will be released next year, including Faith Is for Weak People and Always Ready. I’ve also completed the huge task of a second devotional, Jesus in Red, as well as a new book titled Undeniable Evidence.
Living Waters Equip
We hope to launch an exciting new platform in 2019 called Living Waters Equip. This platform will be a Netflix for evangelism. We hope to offer tons of videos from various Christian leaders to better equip you to share your faith. Want to learn how to proclaim the gospel to a Muslim? Imagine hearing from Emeal (“E.Z.”) Zwayne, Mark Spence, Kirk Cameron, Todd Friel, Ken Ham, myself, and many more on how to do it! This is an ambitious endeavor and your prayers and support are greatly appreciated.
We have much work to do to complete this massive endeavor. We hope to build out the web infrastructure and capture as many interviews as possible in 2019.
We want to further expand our YouTube channel this year by continuing to post two exciting new videos each day. Our channel currently has over 66,000,000 views. There are no words to express our excitement that the gospel is going to so many, who might otherwise never hear!
We are also continuing to produce new and unique gospel tracts. One of these is an amazing optical illusion showing well-known faces on a tree. Over 230,000,000 gospel tracts from Living Waters have been distributed around the world, and we’ve seen countless times how God uses these “silent witnesses” to effectively bring nonbelievers to Christ. Your gifts allow us to keep the costs of gospel tracts down. Our desire has always been to get as many distributed as possible. We couldn’t do it without you, so thank you!
In recent years I have cut back on traveling, but when I was asked to speak at seven national homeschooling conferences in 2019, it was an occasion (and an honor) I couldn’t refuse. I’m delighted to be able to address so many eager families, and guide parents and children to the Savior.
We are excited to be having another hands-on Academy here in Southern California in June. Last year we had over 90 students attend the Ambassadors’ Academy to be trained and equipped to share their faith. We were able to offer numerous scholarships last year, and your gifts made that possible!
