Don't Give Up On Your Church

If you looked up "seeker sensitive mega church" in the dictionary, it would have a picture of my church beside it. I have spent countless hours trying to bring the Way of the Master teaching into our church. But I was met with constant red tape and being told, "Oh, you have to talk to another person about that." However, I have remained in a good, friendly relationship with everyone, and finally decided that I would just leave this in God's hands and continue to pray.

Needless to say, I have had many hours in prayer asking God to give this church a heart for the Bible and something more than just "relevant" messages. A few weeks ago, I started to notice that the messages were becoming more... well, Biblical. That was nice. I thanked God for it and continued to pray.

Then Easter Sunday, it happened. I never thought that I would hear Ray quoted in our Church by anyone other than me -- let alone part of the good test being given -- but the Pastor did it! The sermon was devoted to just trying to explain that we aren't good people.

I thank you and the rest of the team for your continued service to our Lord and Savior.
