The Way of the Master Radio on Your Local Station
The Way of the Master Radio is now on 80 land based stations. This is almost miraculous because we don't pay to be on the air, as most programs do. (This means that many stations have dropped paying customers to have us on the air.) We are both grateful to the stations and to God for this. If you would like your local station to carry the program, you may like to send them a letter like this example. Check your station’s website; you may even be able to send it quickly and easily by email.
SAMPLE TEXT:
Hello,
My name is [YourNameHere], and I am a frequent listener to [YourRadioStationNameHere]. I am writing to request that "The Way of the Master" radio program be included in your broadcasting schedule.
If you have not heard of this ministry, it is a non-denominational, evangelism-oriented, conservative evangelical ministry. The "Way of the Master"/Living Waters ministry has had a major impact on hundreds of thousands of Christians throughout the world, and is broadcast on many various and notable Christian television and radio networks, and they have been recommended by many notable Christians. For example:
"I really like this program, and I really, really like to hear Todd Friel when he does a riff on something he feels strongly about . . . Todd is an inexhaustible reservoir of energy and enthusiasm ( . . . he is about ten-thousand times more well-read and well-informed than the average talk-show host.) He's quick-witted, extroverted, and very likeable. In fact, Todd says lots more shocking and potentially explosive things . . . but he gets by with it because he is not brusque or short of change in the humble purse . . . You'll thank me for introducing you to Todd." From an unsolicited review by Phil Johnson, John MacArthur's book editor and the executive Director of his radio program "Grace to You."
Not only do they have the backing of many Christian leaders, the backing of a fruitful ministry that has impacted many lives, brought many to true salvation and fruitful Christian lives, and raised up many for the harvest, but they also have the backing of lives that practice what they preach. The founders and most notable members of this ministry (primarily Ray Comfort, Kirk Cameron and Todd Friel) regularly engage in street evangelism and many other forms of evangelism and live out what they preach to others. This is a ministry that has become huge over the last several years, not because they have begun preaching a watered down message, but because Christians are hungry for this message. I would like to highly recommend this program for your lineup.
