| Bouncing Off Santa
We couldn’t get a flat decked truck for the Christmas outreach. So we decided to use the Children's Hunger Fund Limo. We purchased a Santa suit, put it on one of our staff (Danny Goodall), put him into the limo, and parked it outside an apartment complex. Kids and parents packed around for Christmas gifts, and listened to a message on Christmas’ true meaning before we gave out stuffed toys. We also took Santa, in the limo, to a local mall crowded with Christmas shoppers. The security guards at first gave us permission to pass out the toys and give a message, then a few minutes later they walked over and withdrew that permission. However they just couldn't bring themselves to kick "Santa" out... especially in front of the growing crowd of parents and children. So they allowed us to preach a gospel message and hand out stuffed toys for the children. The outreach gave Ray a novel idea. He purchased a gorilla suit . . .
