Many things in life can be an illusion, but one thing is sure--ten out of ten die. It's sad but true--no matter what you do, you will die. This is because you have sinned against God. Let's see if that's true: Have you ever lied (even once)? Ever stolen (anything)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Ever looked with lust? If you have said "Yes" to these three questions, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart; and we've only looked at three of the Ten Commandments. How will you do on Judgment Day? Will you be innocent or guilty? You know that you will be guilty, and end up in Hell. That's not God's will. He provided a way for you to be forgiven. He sent His Son to take your punishment: "God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Jesus then rose from the dead and defeated death. "Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit"--everlasting life. Then read the Bible daily and obey what you read. God will never let you down.

My favorite tract right now. However, I wish you would put the illusion in the back somewhere inside the tract. It's the one that says 'Liar'. When I hand these out, inadvertently the person will flip the tract to the back and see the word 'Liar'. That's really not the first thing I want them to read.

I like this tract a lot, but I do think it needs to be revised a bit. Others have already mentioned the problem with the baptism verse. My problem is with the triangle illusion. The tract says that the triangles are the same size but the aren't. That's how the one has the extra space for the "hole". It is bigger than the other triangle. I think this is unintentionally misleading. Other than that, I think it is a good tract. Simon W. San Jose, CA.

I love this tract. People find it engaging.
I don't have a problem with the verse used. A person who is trusting in Jesus' work on the cross to save them is not going to be condemned for "working for their salvation" if they believe that God wants them to get baptized. God does want them to get baptized. That's why Peter said it.

I think the response to this would be found in Luke 3:16 "John answered, saying to them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than i comes, the lachet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: He shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire." My point is that baptism is necessary, the baptism that only Jesus can give by way of the Holy Spirit and fire and it may not be the baptism most people think of; being submerged in water at a church.

Jesus told Peter
Matthew16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the
kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Acts2:38 Peter Said"Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit"--everlasting life".
Then baptism IS necessary.
What part of Repent and be Baptized do you not understand?
