  • Mass Murder 'Normal' in World That Rejects God
BELLFLOWER, Calif., July 25, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- The experts are fervently seeking clues as to why James "the Joker" Holmes murdered 12 people and injured 58 others in a shooting attack at an Aurora, Colo., movie theater where people had gathered to view the latest Batman movie.

But they're not likely to find it, says author and television host Ray Comfort--because they're looking in all the wrong places.

Stephen Hawking Breaks Atheist Rules

tlogo.gif According to professor Stephen Hawking, God didn't create the universe. Instead, nothing created everything. However, according to the author of the book, Nothing Created Everything -- the scientific impossibility of atheistic evolution, Stephen Hawking has violated the basic laws of science. Ray Comfort created an international storm of angry protest from the atheist community in 2009, when he gave away 170,000 copies of Charles Darwin's On Origin of Species to 170,000 students at 100 of the top universities in the United States, as well as universities in England, Australia and New Zealand. The book contained a 50-page Foreword, in which Comfort gave the case for creationism...

BELLFLOWER, Calif., June 22 /Christian Newswire/ -- One thousand copies of The Charles Darwin Bible will be freely handed out to public school teachers at their annual National Education Association convention in San Diego, from July 1-3. The Kentucky based Answers in Genesis ministry (builders of the popular creation museum) has donated the Bibles to the NEA Creation Science Educators Caucus, to be given away to teachers.

tlogo.gif According to a recent survey, more than a third of professors at the top fifty universities describe themselves as atheist or agnostic. Among biology professors, it's a whopping 61%. It's no surprise then that belief in atheism has doubled in the college age bracket in the last 20 years.   (Read how we are attacking this issue head on...)

RayComfort.jpg Designer Calvin Klein has placed what is being called a "racy" new advertisement on a huge five-story-high billboard on a Manhattan building in New York City. It shows half- naked teenagers lying on top of each other in sexually explicit positions. (Read what Ray has to say about this continuing action of Calvin Klein and other advertisers...)

SOBE Textbook Going MP3

Go to School on MP3

Kirk and I (and a few others) are going through the massive task of recording the entire School of Biblical Evangelism text book onto MP3. It's a huge job but we are one third of the way through the 101 lessons. We hope to make it available by the end of the year.

New Breed of Atheists Bad for America

thumb_newbreed.jpg“Atheist: someone who believes that nothing made everything.” That’s the message best-selling author Ray Comfort is pushing through a series of billboards across the country. He has done this to coincide with the Feb 12th, the 200th birthday of Charles Darwin. At the same time he has published a new book called, You Can Lead an Atheist to Evidence But You Can’t Make Him Think (World Net Daily) to combat what he calls the fallacy of evolution, and expose what he believes is the hidden core belief of an atheist.

Translation Volunteers

We greatly appreciate the willingness of kind volunteers who offer to translate our materials. If you would like to be considered as a volunteer to help Living Waters translate any of our resources into any language from English, please note these two important guidelines:

  • Before proceeding with any translation project, please contact Sonia Foley: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with your request to see if the resource you would like to translate, in the language you would like to see it translated to, might already be in process. We have literally dozens of projects in multiples languages already underway and we want to be certain we do not duplicate projects.
  • From this point forward, to be considered volunteers must have formal translation training and / or professional translation experience. Please provide a summary of your training, experience and qualifications when you complete the LWP Volunteer Translation Project Application.

Please be aware, at this time, we do not have a need for Spanish translators.

Your prayers for this effort are greatly appreciated. Volunteers within this project are an important part of our ability to make our resources available worldwide. We thank you for your participation. You are a true blessing to our ministry.

More than 20 million million dollar bills have been given away in recent years in the form of a unique gospel tract. That’s a total of 20 trillion dollars--twice the national debt. The unique gospel tract received national publicity when 8,000 were seized by the Secret Service in Texas in 2006, where there is a on-going court case. It has also been in the news when two different people were arrested for trying to cash the bills. Ray Comfort, the tract’s creator, said, "Since the day the Secret Service had a seizure, sales have exploded. The case is ridiculous. They are not counterfeit, because there's no such thing as a million dollar bill.

Celebrity Millions Take Off

Image

Living Waters Publications has sold more than 20 million "Million Dollar Bills." The unique gospel tract received national publicity when 8,000 of them were seized by the Secret Service in Texas and charged as being counterfeit.

It has also been in the news a number times when different people have been arrested for trying to cash the bills.

TV co-host Ray Comfort (with Kirk Cameron), who originated the idea of the tract ten years ago, recently decided to combine A-list celebrities with the millions and “they have taken off like hot cakes on a cold day in Alaska.”
