Will UC Berkeley Ban "Origin of Species"???

 oos.jpg

November 24th 2009 is the 150th anniversary of the publication of Origin of Species. On that day we will be taking a team to U.C. Berkeley and giving 1,000 copies of the book to students.  (Read more on the exciting events coming up and how you can be involved...)

oos.jpg

A recent study revealed that in the 50 top universities in the U.S. (in the fields of psychology and biology), an amazing 61 percent of respondents described themselves as atheists or agnostics. It's no wonder atheism has doubled in the last 20 years among 19-25 year olds. An entire generation has been (and is being) brainwashed by atheistic evolution, and it's radically changing the culture of our nation.

In an effort to combat this, we produced a special 278-page full color cover edition of Origin of Species, which contains a 50-page introduction. This introduction gives the history of evolution, a timeline of Darwin's life, Hitler's undeniable connections to the theory, Darwin's racism, his disdain for women, and his thoughts on the existence of God. It lists the theory's many hoaxes, exposes the unscientific belief that nothing created everything, points to the incredible structure of DNA, and the absence of any species-to-species transitional forms.

It presents a balanced view of Creationism with information on scientists who believed that God created the universe--scientists such as Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, Nicholas Copernicus, Francis Bacon, Michael Faraday, Louis Pasteur and Johannes Kepler. It uses many original graphics and "is for use in schools, colleges, and prestigious learning institutions." The introduction also contains the entire contents of the popular booklet, "Why Christianity?" Over 30,000 of these books were pre-ordered, and we hope to go for a massive print in the near future. This is why:

November 24th 2009 is the 150th anniversary of the publication of Origin of Species. On that day we will be taking a team to U.C. Berkeley and giving 1,000 copies of the book to students. Berkeley's website says: "Anyone is free to distribute non-commercial materials in any outdoor area of the campus," so there shouldn't be a problem. Besides, what are they going to do--ban Origin of Species? That would be big news, especially when their own bookstore sells it for $29.99.

We want Christians around the country to do what we are doing at Berkeley on Nov. 24th--to give out 1,000 copies in each one of those top 50 universities. Imagine, 50,000 copies of these books suddenly flooding major learning institutions in one day!

When we get teams who commit to do a university, we will mark that particular one on www.OriginIntoSchools.com as being "covered," until we have all 50 covered, along with contact details of how to get involved with each group.

The Alliance Defense Fund (1300 Christian lawyers who are on-call across the country) are working closely with us on this project. They will post each university's free speech and literature distribution policies (in a downloadable format) on the OriginIntoSchools.com website. They will also provide information on Christian groups in each one, and immediate cell phone access to lawyers in that area.

We want to give away these books to our future politicians, doctors, lawyers, etc., while we still have the liberty to do so. Please seriously consider working with us.

The first print of the book arrived on Friday. In more than 30 years of ministry, we have never had so much trouble with delivery. Amazingly,  five different freight companies let us down. We therefore had to delay our email Update about the arrival of the books.

When the shipment came, our fork-lift broke down as we wheeled it towards the truck (which had never happened before). When we tried to send out an Update saying the books had finally arrived, our website crashed and was down for an unprecedented 30 hours.

So if you are going to become involved in the front lines of fighting for this generation in this way, expect a battle (discouragement, hindrances, etc.). This is going to deal a powerful blow to the enemy, so keep in mind: "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places..." Please keep us and yourselves in prayer.

To order a box of 40 books at 99 cents each (and the free poster), go to our webstore:

Singles copies are $4.99 each. Feel free to also call (800) 437-1893.

If you or your church wants to get 1000 copies into your local university on November 24th (at a cost of $990 plus shipping), or if you or your church would like to sponsor a university (pay for 1,000 copies for a team to give them out), send your email address and details to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Proof that evolution is true:

Only thing is, Kirk Cameron got it backwards: the duck-croc (not
"crocoduck") has been discovered at last! So stop beleiving in literal
    genesis.

Hi,Ray I can't listen to your Hells Best Kept Secret video enough, I have been a
christian sence 1975 and have been doing evangelism off and on for years, but for
the last 6 months the Lord has been working on me to do more,so now in my
church,we have a small group that gos street witnessing and some other things we
    do

I ride the City Bus just so I can talk to people about the Lord.I just feel like
more has to be done about reaching the lost.So I am more involved than ever.
Their is a group meeting from our church Feb.28th 2010 to watch your video. I
will be ordering some things from the webstore. Please pray for our area here in
    Reno Nv. Thanks

  • Scott  - Sad really
I am a Christian scientist. No that doesn't mean I don't believe in doctors.
I'm literally a scientist and a christian. B.S. in chemistry had my fair share
of physics, biochem, biology, zoology, physiology, anatomy, and now i'm a dental
student taking professional level courses in these subjects. It embarrasses me
that my brothers and sisters in Christ attempt to "reason" with people
without even understanding the argument. Christians started out with the
Intelligent Design argument which now even the catholic church is saying it's
bogus. If you haven't taken several science courses you have no business trying
to argue with people who have. Much in the same way, it is pointless for
non-christians to use the bible against christians who actually know it better.
To truly understand what evolution is just be open minded about what is being
taught. Actually read a book or attend a lecture. Don't listen to people li...
  • Travis  - Reply to Scott
Yes Scott, it is sad if Christians do not use good arguments. However it should
not embarrass you if your brothers and sisters believe what scripture says in
    its first book.

Actually Ray and Kirk are encouraging people to read - that is why they are
    handing out books.

To anyone else: if you understand science, do you understand why the universe
exists? Are you so sure that men have discovered the secret of existence because
they have learned some science? I would rather call on the God Who made
    everything.

An Agnostic is not an Atheist in my understanding and use of these terms. Some
will not be satisfied with the gift of life without projecting their own egos
into it. Belief is a personal thing and the weak and lonely cannot seem to
    accept this plight.
Man is a sinner according to most religions so why is it that anyone would spend
time trying to convince another that they are telling the truth much less know
the truth about life in a place they have never been?
I grew up in a christian church and found a higher percentage of conscious
lies, deceivers and users there than outside. I also travelled and joined a
number of denominations through the decades and observed that few christians
even read the bible. Many follow the dictates of the Rev or Pastor and are
scared to question them. Why is there so much child rape and sexual deviancy
carried out by these so-called spiritual 'leaders'? And they continue to be

  • linda escamilla  - Applauds
I applaud you for what you are doing. As far as handing Christian anything to
anybody, they don't have to accept it. I believe that Atheist and other people
that do not believe in God do not want to accept the literature because they are
scared of what they might learn. I am a Christian and I have read copies of
other books about other religions. It has not changed my mind about what I
believe in, but it shows me exactly what other people believe in and why. Our
job is to preach the Gospel(the Holy Spirit will convert you) not me. If you
are an atheist and your set into your belief, then what could it hurt for you to
read or hear something about Jesus? Are you scared that you might actually
    believe?
  • 333  - not afraid
as some one who grew up in a very christian home and having read most of the
bible, trust me reading it any more wont help. it was precisely the fact that i
read it that made me doubt it. even before i knew about evolution the bible was
simply hard to believe and in some cases indistinguishable from fairy tales, i
mean talking donkeys any one? having found a simple and elegant explanation in
science made it possible for me to become a happy and fulfilled non-believer
  • DJ  - 333 not afraid and not thinking
    333,

Don't believe in talking donkeys, eh? How about talking parrots? Or gorillas
that can use sign language? The Bible says, God has chosen the foolish things of
world to confound the wise. I guess you can take consolation that the
foolishness of talking animals is beneath your intellect, but I see it as yet
another Biblical example of how far God will go to reach someone.

Parrots and birds of paradise don't talk they mimic sounds. The lyre dird of

said donkeys and they do not talk; neither do snakes when they are trying to
persuade people to eat forbidden fruits.

  • Esther  - Brainwashing
How is it brainwashing to develop atheistic beliefs through a detailed
scientific study of anatomy and genetics, but not brainwashing to push Christian
beliefs onto the very same people?
Also, why bring Hitler into it? It devalues all arguments that you have made: he
was evil, yes, but evolution as a theory has nothing to do with him; it is not
affected by whether or not he subscribed to it. He also belived that the Earth
was round, and gosh he may have been right there. Of course Darwin was
dismissive of women, so were those in the Bible who forbade them from
worshipping when they were menstruating. It comes from social conditioning of
the time. Of course, you are free to spread your message, and this should be
allowed. However, you must expect people to refuse your rather silly arguments
and try to reason with you in return.
  • Grace
You're operating under the assumption that people who study the fields of
biology are indoctrinated into being an agnostic/atheist by their education and
that their interest in the study of biological life on an evolutionary level
wasn't based upon feelings that came prior to that education.

I'd like to think I know this better than most people considering I'm a PhD
student in genetics (and I know many other biological sciences students and
professors on a personal level). Maybe you should work harder on pushing
christians INTO biology instead of pushing them AWAY from it - if you have a
problem with evolution, push others who feel the same way you do into biological
sciences so you actually have a basis for your arguments against evolution
rather than gross misuse of quotes from Mein Kampf. But hey, it isn't like this
is the first time christians have misused text written by another christian.

  • Erika  - Why so much conflict?
I think people in this world should be free to speak their minds. What people
need to understand is that it is o.k. to preach their beliefs, but should be
preached to those who ask for it. I don't hear atheists or agnostics preaching
to the world that we should not believe in God. Having been raised a Catholic, I
always remembered hearing that God does not punish and always forgives. I don't
understand why today, those people that call themselves followers of Christ deem
it proper to instill in children's minds, that if they do not believe in Christ
or follow the commandments, that they will be punished.

I have a Master's in Biology. While obtaining my degree, a conflict of fact and
theory along with evolution crossed my mind. I too have faith in Christ but do
not always agree with everything written in scripture. Why is it wrong to have
both faith and belief in evolution? Why does it have to only be one or the
    other?
  • Anonymous
    Erika,

You do say that you have faith in Christ; however, you don't believe in
scripture being your final authority for your faith.

Bottom line, scripture is clear in Romans 5 that death entered the world by by
sin. Before sin, there was no death. How can evilution occur if man was not yet
evolved and incapable to knowingly disobey God's law, or one law at that time
    (Thou shalt not eat)?

Please keep in mind, evolution is a theory, not fact and it takes more faith to
believe in evolution than to believe Jesus Christ (God in the flesh) was a real
    person.

We install in our children the conscience of God for the hope that they will
understand right and wrong, to the end, that they will one day understand their
wrongs merit the judgement of God. The Law then shows they are a sinner and they
look to the author and finisher of our faith, the Lord Jesus Christ, to forgive
    them of their sins thro...

To Everyone who doesn't believe in God The Almighty. I will pray that each and
everyone of you will get Saved. I don't understand how you can believe such
Nonsense that there isn't a God, who controls every breath you take? Who keeps
the heart beating? Most of all, think about Adam & Eve, they sure didn't form by
themselves, neither did the Earth Everyone, and every living thing, was created
by God the Almighty Himself, through His Words! I want to Challenge each and
every one of you, which I wasn't planning on writing this, as God touched my
heart to challenge you on, will call this the "Truth And Dare Challenge"
I Dare you to call up on the name of Jesus, and ask Him first of all to Forgive
you(with a Sincere heart)(after you sit in a quiet room, ask God to show you
what you need to repent of first, with No distractions (even if you don't
Believe in Him)for a Day, however long it will take)for all of your sins(you
  • Roger M  - Indoctrinators??
I have a bachelor of science degree in biology and am agast at the notion that
christians are indoctrinating the students of higher education with lies, tales,
and what not!! Throughout my whole science education, I was indoctrinated with
evolutionary Darwinism without the hint of any possibility of debate. Many of
the students who were in class with me went on to be doctors, nurses, and
scientists in well-known institutions. And yes, many of those students did NOT
share the view of evolution. We often would sit and discuss the absurdity of
some of the material being taught as the Gospel Truth, when it was no more than
pure speculation at most. So when the evolutionist rhetoric starts to fly, you
should know that you have hit a very sensitive nerve. Keep up the good work. A
society who cannot debate ideas is socialistic at best. Just look at China...
  • KevinC  - At the end of your lines?
What do creationists do when they are unable to provide enough evidence to
counter that supporting the theory of evolution? They give out free books that
start out by telling tales on how Jesus was the best guy that ever walked on the
6000 year old Earth with dinosaurs. You call atheists indoctrinators? Not one
atheist threatened to jeapordize another's life through summoning on
superstitious and supernatural whatnots. Atheists ask to make your own
decisions. And what is the deal with Hitler and Darwin? Just because Hitler
accepted Darwin's theory doesn't mean Darwin accepted Hitler.

Jeez, evangelists and religions will and shall bring about the end of the world.
  • Paula  - Thanks Ray!
Thanks Ray for your ministry! 6 months ago the Lord opened my eyes to my false
conversion through the Way of the Master book, completely changed my heart and
set me on fire for Him. I was so excited to find out you are coming to UC.
Berkeley, as that is my alma mater and I still live in the area. I'm hoping to
take the day off and come out to see you guys!
  • Andrew  - thanks for correcting the spelling
thanks for correcting the spelling of Berkeley. That was kind of you. I read
your introduction to "On the Origins of Species." It was silly and I
doubt that biology students at U.C. Berkeley will do anything but laugh at it. I
might have been a little rude in my other comment, but the spelling thing really
bothered me. No hard feelings. Thanks again.
  • Glen Bayly  - Rev.
Great idea! As a 1973 graduate of UC Berkeley in Philosophy, I know that the
campus has had its indoctrination program in place for decades. This challenge
to the dominant evolutionary thinking in the scientific community is greatly
needed. A leader in the assault on Darwinism is Berkeley Emeritus Law Professor,
Dr. Philip Johnson, who wrote Darwin On Trial and other related books.
  • Jakab  - Grassroots!
We need this! We need to get these books in the hands of students. Our future
world is being raised up on lies. We must preach the truth in love, quickly. We
have not much time to waste. Thank you for all that you all do through your
    ministry. Soli Deo Gloria!

  • MikeTheInfidel  - Stop lying for Jesus.
It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie
which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I
have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me
which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the
structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it. (Albert Einstein,
1954, The Human Side, edited by Helen Dukas and Banesh Hoffman, Princeton
    University Press)

I cannot conceive of a God who rewards and punishes his creatures, or has a will
of the kind that we experience in ourselves. Neither can I nor would I want to
conceive of an individual that survives his physical death; let feeble souls,
from fear or absurd egoism, cherish such thoughts. I am satisfied with the
mystery of the eternity of life and with the awareness and a glimpse of the
marvelous structure of the existing world, together with the dev...
  • Robert  - Stop lying cause you hate Jesus.
    Mike,

Stop lying cause you hate Jesus and repent.

This book doesn't say that Albert Einstein believed in God the same way as
Christians. But, that he believed in a higher power and nothing more, even your
own quote says that. Your reading into your quote that Einstein doesn't think
there is a God, but in fact all he says is that he doesn't believe in a god that
is involved with his creation. This is clearly seen when you mix your quotes
    with the ones below.

"In the view of such harmony in the cosmos which I, with my limited human
mind, am able to recognize, there are yet people who say there is no God. But
what makes me really angry is that they quote me for support of such views."
(The Expanded Quotable Einstein, Princeton University Press, pg 214) "I
want to know how God created this world. I am not interested in this or that
phenomenon, in the spectrum of this or that element. I ...
  • Patrick K.  - RE: Stop lying cause you hate jesus.
Albert Einstein was not a theist,(besides, Albert Einstein was jewish and did
not believe in god as a christian...because he was not a christian); his beliefs
were more in line with a Deist anyways. To quote from an interview with him,
"I believe in Spinoza's God who reveals himself in the orderly harmony in
what exists, not in a God who concerns himself with fates and actions of human
    beings"

I have read the introduction to your book and considered it to be an insult.
It's about time that croc-a-duck and the banana man "evolve" out of
grade 5 science and educate themselves at a University level.
